Description

Features of Honeywell Tower Air Purifier HPA160

The Honeywell tower air purifier uses an activated carbon pre-filter and a true HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of airborne pollutants, like pollen, dust, viruses, and even harmful odors.

Activated Carbon Pre-Filter

The Honeywell HPA160 tower air purifier has an activated carbon pre-filter. The impure air is first passed through this pre-filter which traps larger particles, like large dust particles or air. It also removes Volatile Organic Compounds, odors and gases.

True HEPA Filter

After passing through the pre-filter, the air is passed through the true HEPA filter. This removes 99.97% of pollutants from the air, including pet dander, pollen, small dust particles, bacteria, viruses and mold spores. The HEPA filter is capable of removing particles as small as 0.3 microns.

3 Cleaning Modes

The Honeywell Hepaclean air purifier has three cleaning or fan modes, namely- Allergen, General Clean and Germs. While the “Allergen” mode has the highest fan speed, the “Germs” mode has the lowest.

Turbo Fan Mode

The Turbo fan mode cleans the room at a much faster pace. It is extremely useful if you want to get rid of bad odors in the room as soon as possible. All you need to do is press the button marked “turbo”.

Filter Replacement Indicators

The Honeywell HPA160 air purifier also has separate replacement indicators for the pre-filter and the HEPA filter. It keeps track of the time when the filters were last replaced, and notifies you when you need to replace them again.

Automatic Shut-off Timers

The Honeywell air purifier has an auto-shut off feature in which you can regulate the time. It has 3 timer settings- 2 hours, 4 hours, and 8 hours. To set the time, you need to press the timer button. After you have set the timer, the air purifier will shut off automatically after the specified time.
